University of the Village Comes to Pendeen!

I attended an information session about a research project between 3 Universities and BT. It is looking at how technology can take learning from University buildings into communities and expand ‘virtual’ classrooms and learning. The idea is that 3 rural communities will work together on a writing project.

If time allows, I will take part. The Centre of Pendeen will be the base and it is suggested we will have 8 hours of formal input over 2 – 3months.
