Heading towards The Square

Entering The Square, St Just

The St Piran’s Parade in St Just took place, on Friday 4th March from St Just Primary School to Plen An Gwarry, ending with us singing Trelawney.  The parade all the pupils from St Just and Pendeen Primary Schools, and the pre-school groups from Brambles and The Ark, representatives from Cape Cornwall Secondary school and community groups. There were banner bearers and I was honoured to be up the front with our Cornwall Councillor, Brian Clemens and our vicar, Kasten.

There was also a concert in the Methodist chapel, the same evening, featuring Twin Harmony, Cape Cornwall singers and children from our local schools. As ever, it was brilliant, ending with a rousing singing of Trelawney for all the performers and the community to join in.
