Launching Local Election Campaigns down West for St Ives Constituency Liberal Democrats in Penzance at Jubilee Pool on Saturday. Well, it wasn’t any official public launch but it was a chance for those standing to get photographs for leaflets that will be coming through doors very soon!

Nationally the Government has changed and in Cornwall all our MPs changed last July. The goal of Liberal Democrats in Cornwall is to offer folk the opportunity to reduce the number of Conservative Councillors and increase the number of Liberal Democrat Councillors, maybe once again, becoming the largest group on the Council. Mind you, I don’t envy whoever it running the Council after May as the financial situation in Cornwall is dire and whoever is in charge will struggle to maintain Service unless there is a big injection of cash from somewhere!
As always, my message is vote in May!
