Grants to Help Reduce Heating Costs
Grants to help reduce heating costs are available through a company called Happy Energy.
If people are in receipt of benefits they may be entitled to a full grant for some of these works:
• Oil and LPG Boiler Upgrades
• Heating Control Upgrades – radiator thermostats, room thermostat, digital timer
• Storage Heater Upgrades
• Air Source Heat Pumps
• Biomass Boilers and Stoves
If people are not in receipt of any benefits (or if they are) they may still be entitled to grants to help with the cost of:
• Loft Insulation
• Cavity Wall Insulation
• Room in Roof, Flat Roof, Underfloor Insulation
• Partial Grants for Double Glazing
• Communal Heating (at least 2 properties connected to the same heating source – flats, home with an annexe etc.
