Coaches Welcome in St Just
Coaches welcome in St Just and their passengers are welcome to enjoy the great food, drink, art and history of the town. Up until now coaches travelling the scenic B3306 coast road to and from St Ives could only pass through the small town of St Just as there was nowhere safe for them to stop. Cllr Sue James has worked with the local Town Council, individual businesses and the Chamber of Commerce to have this trial scheme for coaches to park.
Cllr Sue James explains “we are still waiting for the directional signs but Cormac were in the area so were able to get the bay marked out so coaches can start using it now!”
Whilst the signs are being ordered here are some directions to help coaches get to the bay: On entering the Market Square in the centre of St Just, follow the blue ‘P’ sign on the finger post, turning between the Commercial Hotel and the Co-Op supermarket. Take the 1st left, immediately after the British Legion, following a local bus sign (ignore the Free Parking sign at this point) – see below. Then turn immediately right and park in the marked bay opposite the shelter for local bus services. Do not block the route for local bus services.
