Youth Camp for Cornish & Breton Youngsters

Posted on: 1st May 2016

Youth Camp for Cornish & Breton Youngsters still has some places for 14th and 23rd July, this year.

Kowethas an Yeth (a Cornish Language Charity) has obtained funding from Erasmus+ to host a youth camp for Cornish and Breton youngsters this Summer at Tehidy Country Park. Young people between 13 and 16 years of age are invited to apply for selection to attend this camp. To suit the Breton participants this will be taking place mainly in term-time, however we are confident that this will provide a valuable educational experience for those selected.

Following the first call for participants the first group of youngsters have been selected but there are still some places, particularly for boys, so we are holding a second round of selection which will culminate in a second selection day in late May.

Please see the application form below and feel free to copy and distribute it as you see fit. If you need more information you can contact me on the above details. Applications need to be returned to Cornwall Council Chairman’s office, County hall, Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY by Friday 20th May.
