Review of first 3 months of 2015
Review of first 3 months of 2015 based on my hopes back in January (Cllr Sue James shares her hopes for 2015 )
- After a halt to the process of deciding the future of Cornwall’s libraries a consultation is now under way Cornwall Libraries and One Stop Shops are under review
- The new committee have made a good start to secure Nancherrow Youth Project and I am working with them to smooth the way for the building being secured, essential to funding bids
- People will have noticed a bay for coaches to park in opposite the bus stop in St Just. Hopefully bringing increasing customer numbers to the town Coaches Welcome in St Just
- The Pioneer project, bringing together health, social care and the voluntary sector, continues to make progress and are gaining National attention
- Bosavern Community Farm continues to develop and grow although the committed team could do with additional community involvement as we enter the next growing season
- I’ll say this very quietly, so as not to tempt fate, there has been less weather related harm this year, so far
- I am working hard to help ensure that Andrew George is re-elected as our M.P as I feel only he has the experience to stand up for Cornwall and get things done for local people. If you want to help then email me at cllrsuejames@gmail.com
- Some progress with learning the piano – at least I’m keeping it up!
- Less progress with weight loss but not gained any!
