Logo Design Contest for St Just Park
Logo design contest for St Just Park is launching and will be open to entries for the whole of March.
You are invited to design a logo for the St Just Skate Park and Recreation Ground Project.
The competition is open to all ages and you can submit more than one entry. There will be a small prize and the honour of seeing your logo adopted by the project.
There are a few things to remember when designing your logo
• The logo should include the words ‘St Just Skate Park and Recreation Ground’
• If your logo design is in colour, it should also be able to work well in black and
white
• We are not just focused on the skate park and the logo should reflect the recreation ground as a whole too
• The logo will be used on small things like badges, as well as large banners, so something simple that works for both sizes is good.
Entries should be sent to katebeckly@mac.com or posted to Kate Beckly (Secretary) St Just Skate Park and Recreation Ground, 5 Venton East Sq, St Just, TR19 7EY.
Closing date for entries is 31st March 2018. Don’t forget to put your contact details on your entry and your age if under 16.
Background
Following the removal of the skate park equipment at St Just Recreation Ground last September, we formed a committee to fundraise for a new skate park in St Just. Cornwall Council who own the recreation ground are fully in support, and have promised us £30,000. This is a great start, but we need to raise more. We want to build a really fantastic new concrete skate park, that will withstand everything that the Cornish weather throws at us. We are aiming to raise £200,000. There will be lots
of fun events and ways for you to get involved, so if you are interested in being kept in touch please email katebeckly@mac.com or follow us on Facebook.
