Help For Those Affected By Storms

Posted on: 13th March 2014

There have been a number of people affected by the floods and storms. Cornwall Council’s community network and Volunteer Cornwall teams are working together to ensure those people get the help, support and advice they need.

Volunteer Cornwall has received lots of offers of help and support – people have volunteered their time, offered money and furniture. People offering money have been directed to Cornwall Community Foundation. People needing furniture have been put in contact with people offering items of furniture and any items left over will be donated to Heartlands Furniture, a furniture recycling charity.
