Geevor Tin Mine, Pendeen

 

Geevor Tin Mine, Pendeen is owned by Cornwall Council but run by local people through the Pendeen Community Heritage Trust (PCH), a registered charity.

Open Sundays to Fridays 9 till 5 April to October. For the rest of the year it is open 9 till 4, also Sundays to Fridays. There is plenty of parking, including for coaches.

Exhibitions change regularly and during school holidays there are many activities for children.

From June to September 2014, in the Hard Rock museum, there is a display telling the story of mining in St Just.
