What About Mayor’s Sunday 2022?

What About Mayor’s Sunday 2022? Well that is a question I’m asking myself! Last year I did it a bit different, holding a Community rather than a Civic Event. Whilst I got lots of positive feedback, there were a few grumbles. So, I’m posting it here so there is time to influence BUT I’m sort of thinking a return to the Civic, but on a smaller scale and keep the Community element, either the same or adapted.

Not sure what I did last year, well here is a summary: Mayor’s Sunday Community Event 2021

The more traditional approach was a parade involving neighbouring Mayors and Parish Chairs and our Town Councillors, plus community representatives and a Church service, followed by some kind of reception, and years gone by a full blown meal.
