Newsletter From Penwith Landscape Partnership – get in touch with nature

Posted on: 6th May 2020

Newsletter From Penwith Landscape Partnership (PLP), with a get in touch with nature opportunity, for anyone keen to get outside. Could be a great home schooling project.

So, in the pdf version of the Newsletter (see link below), look out for the Virtual Bioblitz item on 15 May – a bit of citizen science! PLP are encouraging everyone to go out into their gardens and to make a list of every species they can identify. The PLP team and local experts will be on hand via their social media channels to help identify any species you are finding tricky – it could be flowers, birds, insects, lichens, or anything else! You can share details and photos of what you find, directly to their social media, or create posts on your own accounts using the hashtag #Penwithbioblitz

The Newsletter also has information for local farmers, including how to get advice on making use of redundant buildings.
