New Funding Opportunity for Local Projects

New Funding Opportunity for Local Projects through a revised Community Chest scheme, available through each of Cornwall Council’s Councillors. This year, to make our little £2,000 pots go further, Cornwall Council is launching a crowd funding platform so that what each Councillor pledges can be added to by other donations from the ‘crowd’. It is early days but I wanted to let you know that, if you have an ambitious local project that will benefit the people of St Just, Pendeen and surrounding hamlets I might be able to assist you in getting more money than before. It also makes it easier to fund projects that cross electoral boundaries.
