Millennia of Dark Skies – a History of Astronomy in West Cornwall is a talk to be given by Carolyn Kennett a historian of astronomy. From the Prehistoric to the more recent Cornish connections with space, Carolyn will introduce you to the wonders of the night sky through a journey through time and space. She will talk about what inspired our distant ancestors to connect to the night sky, to more recent discoveries, all made here in Cornwall under our amazing dark skies.
