Local Library Services Update

First a big thank you to all those supporters of St Just Library that have circulated the campaign through social media. The Cornishman have now covered the story too.

Those who want to have their say about the Mobile Library Service, you can do that on-line, from the Cornwall Council website, or come to the meeting on Thursday, at the Methodist Chapel, at 6.30 p.m. and you can have a paper copy to complete. Any left over copies will be placed in the Library on Friday.

Sue has had her knuckles slightly rapped, for using the ‘closed’ word. For the record, Sue is not suggesting there are any discussions to close St Just Library. She was expressing a worry that, if the library is open so little then the footfall will go down and that would not be good for any service provision, in tough economic times.
