We are putting on this event to thank you for your past support and to get ourselves organised to ensure Liberal voices continue to be heard in Cornwall. We need your help to start a local Liberal Democrat Supporters’ Group as part of the St Ives Constituency party.
The evening will be chaired by Caroline White, our Constituency Chairperson. This will also be an opportunity to introduce David Talbot, an experienced councillor from elsewhere in the Country, now living in Cornwall. After a 10 year gap, he has re-joined the party and wants to be an active campaigner.
During the evening
- Andrew George will talk about life outside Westminster
- Cllr Sue James will talk of our campaigning challenges ahead
- There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers and
- Some informal time to mingle when Sue, Andrew, Caroline and David will be happy to talk to individuals about what they can do locally to help ensure we keep LibDem voices on Cornwall Council.
