Local Bus Service Update

Although there are still on-going negotiations, due to the understandable anxiety I thought it worth me posting what the position is now.

10/10A Penzance/ St Just – Hourly service Mon – Sat days, 2 hourly eves and Sundays (this is no change for Botallack, Pendeen & Boscaswell).

Greyhound route 504 Penzance – Lamorna Cove – St Just – Penzance to Lamorna covered First bus route 5 and Lamorna turn to Sennen by First bus route 1/1A as enhanced. Discussions are continuing for the Sennen to St Just part of this route, looking at dial-a-ride possibilities.

Gurnards Head – Morvah – St Just – school bus to Cape Cornwall School may provide a limited public service but a dial-a-ride service is being explored outside of these times.

Zennor will be served by changing a First bus route to between St Ives – Nancledra – Penzance. Route between Penzance and Trythal school maintained.

Old Greyhound 509 St Just – Sancreed – Penzance -West Penwith Community Bus Association will provide a service on this route ensuring school journeys are provided and a connection with Penzance.
