Police & Crime Commissioner’s Secret Deal

Information Commissioner Investigating PCC Tony Hogg:

Ms Howl was the former Chief Exec of the Police Authority but left less than a year after the new Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Hogg took up his post. Officially, this was ‘to pursue other challenges’.

Alex Folkes, Deputy Leader of the LibDem group on Cornwall Council asked whether she had been given a pay off but Mr Hogg has refused to answer, citing confidentiality issues. He refused to discuss this at the last Police and Crime Panel Meeting too.
