Cornwall Does NOT Have 29,000 Empty Homes

Cornwall does not have 29,000 empty homes, as inaccurately reported in the press.

Using Council Tax data, long term empty properties in Cornwall are more accurately calculated as just over 3,100.

Last year Cornwall Council brought 80 empty properties back into use and the Council is nationally respected as an exemplar authority in terms of the way it deals with empty properties.
