Bizarre Beachcombing exhibition

Bizarre Beachcombing exhibition – should be good!

The Friends of Portheras Cove have a great track record of working to keep our beach clean and of putting on great exhibitions of interest to locals and visitors alike.

There will also be displays, artwork, & installations made from the diverse array of objects that beach-cleaners and beach-combers find lurking amongst the flotsam & jetsam on our coastline. Litter, container spill items, trash and treasures have all been saved from landfill and recycled in some very ingenious ways. Artists from Whitsand Bay, to Land’s End have not only created objects of striking beauty, but they have also made a considerable contribution to cleaning our Cornish beaches at the same time. You will be both fascinated and horrified by some of the exhibits!

Refreshments will be available at a reasonable price!
