Bringing Together Council’s & Health Childrens’ Services – What do you think?

Posted on: 20th September 2018

Bringing together the Council’s & NHS Childrens’ Services has been being discussed under the banner of One Vision. Although the integration of Adult Social Care and NHS services has gained massive public scrutiny, few seem to be engaging over these proposals. Now you have a chance to say what you think of the proposals before they are implemented.

The public are being invited to share their views and have an opportunity to influence how services for children, young people and families should work in your local area.

The Services being considered are:

  • Council’s Children, Schools and Families Service – education and early years’ service, early help, social care
  • Health visiting and School nursing

A series of drop-in sessions are planned to share and discuss the services delivered for children, young people and families in local communities and what they might like in the future.

The consultation will focus on:
 What it’s like for children and young people living in your area
 What it’s like for a parent/carer living in your area
 What works well for you at the moment
 What would improve the way we work
 Where and how you want to access help and support
